This training video was designed to give aspiring child welfare specialists a glimpse into the real, day-to-day moments of professionals in the field—allowing them to connect emotionally with the work before stepping into the role themselves. The goal was to create content that goes beyond theoretical knowledge, helping learners understand the human side of child welfare work and the profound impact these professionals have on vulnerable children and families.

 

To develop the script, I collaborated with Claude AI through an iterative prompting process, refining the narrative based on feedback to ensure it accurately captured the challenges and meaningful impact of this critical role. Once the script was finalized, I brought the content to life using Synthesia’s AI-powered platform, creating a polished video with synthetic avatars that delivers professional training content efficiently and cost-effectively. This project demonstrates my ability to leverage AI tools strategically in the instructional design process while maintaining focus on learning outcomes and learner engagement.
